Microscopic Elements
I own an actual microscope and use what I see as inspiration for my designs.
Fun fact: Taking photos of what you see under a microscope is called Photomicrography.

My designs are based on real species, studied through thoughtful research, not generated by AI. While I don’t always replicate exact scale (I'm not printing field guides 🤓), I aim to keep the species and its key traits recognizable.
Repeating Patterns
I often use repeating surface pattern designs.
Surface Design: Just as it sounds, designs appearing on any product's surface.
Repeat Patterns: Think wallpaper or a bolt of fabric. The designs repeat over and over again without end, seamlessly.
What this means is that most of my designs are not one-off graphics or taglines plopped on a tee. They’re intentional, artfully crafted prints.
The Butterfly + Moth Specimen Scarf is a great example of a repeating surface pattern design.

Whether you hike trails every weekend or admire birds from a city balcony, there’s a part of you that feels wonder when you encounter the wild.
That’s the feeling I want to awaken. Whether it's scuba diving in open water or strolling through an air conditioned aquarium, I want you to marvel at the tiniest details of Earth's most incredible plant and animal species.
So rest assured, you don’t have to be a camper or birder to connect with my designs (although cool if that's you), but you do need to bring your curiosity and a sense of wonder.
